This is a fan site dedicated to the heaviest band in the world Slipknot! Im still working

3 The Subliminal verses.
Slipknot formed in Des Moines, Iowa in 1995 by Shawn Paul and ex-Vocalist Anders. They recorded their
first CD in 1996 called Mate.Feed.Kill.Repeat. Then they got vocalist Corey Taylor and they got signed to I AM Records in
1997. They worked on their debut self-titled album and released it in 1999. It eventually went platinum (the best selling
record in Roadrunner Records history). Then they but out their second albumn ,Iowa, in 2001. It didnt do as well as their
self titles debut but still sold well. Many saw Iowa as a dissapointment and record sales were low. After the release of Iowa
they toured and then took a break. There were many rumors that Slipknot had broken up, but they posted a reply on their
website saying they had not broken up they were working on a new CD. The new albumn came out May 25, 2004 and is titled
Vol. 3: The Subliminal Verses. Many where shocked to find out it didnt have a parental advisory sticker and doesnt cuss much.
It is still a great cd and is doing very well in sales. Slipknot will be touring on Ozzfest this summer along with Slayer
and many other great bands.
